Troy’s Convergix Adds AGR Automation to Portfolio and Targets $500 Billion Global Market

Convergix Automation Solutions in Troy, backed by Crestview Partners of New York, has acquired AGR Automation, a UK-based provider of custom high-performance automation design and systems integrations, primarily for the life sciences industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Following Convergix’s acquisitions of JMP Solutions in August 2021 and Classic Design in February 2022, AGR marks the third investment in Crestview’s strategy to build Convergix into a diversified automation solutions provider targeting the global market of 500+ billion, with a particular focus on the $70 billion global market. the systems integration and connectivity segments.

Derek Gaston, Managing Director of AGR, will remain in an advisory role, and his senior executives will continue in their current leadership roles.
