Samsung Achieves Top Product and Service Quality Rankings for TVs and Home Appliances by ACSI®

Highlighting its product and service leadership, Samsung Electronics America received the top rating for “Overall Product Quality and Service” for TVs and Home Appliances in the 2022 US Satisfaction Index Survey of the clientele.1.3 The company was an industry leader in the following areas for excellence in product quality, repair service, mobile app reliability, and warranty coverage:

  • #1 in Overall Customer Satisfaction for TVs
  • #1 in Overall Product Quality for TVs
  • No. 1 in quality of service for television
  • #1 in Overall Product Quality for Home Appliances
  • No. 1 in quality of service for household appliances2

The US Customer Satisfaction Index Survey (ACSI) is the only cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction in the country. Since 1994, the survey has been recognized as a leader in analyzing consumer sentiment toward popular products and services.

Between July 2021 and June 2022, the ACSI Appliances and Electronics Study surveyed nearly 5,500 US consumers who have recently purchased appliances from major manufacturers to rate the quality of their experiences across various categories. Between April 2022 and June 2022, the ACSI TV study surveyed nearly 1,500 US consumers who have recently purchased TVs from major manufacturers to rate the quality of their experiences in various categories.

The survey assesses 10 key product touchpoints: durability, exterior design, website satisfaction, mobile app reliability, mobile app quality, warranty coverage, service technician courtesy and helpfulness, outcome service repair, speed of service repair and ease of service organization.
