Our Mission is to provide our customers with outstanding video and digital video media products designed to enhance the life experience of canine owners and breeders with their wonderful life companions. Purebred Studios is granted approval to videotape Breed Club and AKC Events directly from host organizations prior to taping. Our VHS and DVD products are meant as keepsakes and souvenirs for owners, breeders, and dog fanciers and are not to be interpreted as official AKC or official Breed Club Records of these events. Our Videos, DVDs, and Video Clips are usually wholesaled to and marketed directly through Breed Clubs, and occasionally by Purebred Studios, if the Breed Club wishes to allow us to act for them. ABOUT THE FOUNDERS Gary Weitz is a former Silicon Valley engineer who worked in a variety of professional positions during his career. He has over twenty-five years of high tech experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Santa Clara, where he studied engineering and business. Prior to his many years in Silicon Valley, Gary served as a US Army Lieutenant in Amphibious Operations and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Susan Weitz has been employed in professional sales for her entire career in Silicon Valley. She has won several company and national awards during the course of her many years of service to the Biotechnical industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business from San Jose State University. Gary and Susan have been married for over thirty years and tremendously enjoy the companionship of their four pets... 3 beautiful Purebred Salukis, Ali, Sarah and Natasha, and a loving Siamese house cat, Blue. They are members of the American Saluki Association and The Saluki Club of Greater San Francisco. Ali, Sarah, and Natasha are exhibited by Susan at AKC All-Breed and Specialty Shows all over California. Ali, CH Miriah's Moonstruck Shamars, was awarded her AKC Conformation title in 2001 and now occasionally competes as a Veteran. Sarah is "pointed" but is still blossoming at age 5 years. Natasha, CH Excelsior's Natasha D'Amour, finished with 4 majors in January, 2008. We would be lost without their love and companionship. |
